2009 show flock at KILE
|
|
|
We enjoyed showing our sheep slicked again this year at Maryland, York and KILE. Most of all we enjoy spending time with our friends in the sheep business, many of whom show up in this picture. Now we're looking forward to the 2010 lamb crop. We still have at least a half dozen more ewes than we should, so feel free to call if you're looking for a few young, productive ewes. Thank you to the Holtrys and Ebersoles for selecting some ewes from our flock.

We had an excellent Pa Farm Show this year, showing four "Dude" daughters and our yearling ram "Pete" to first place flock, premier exhibitor and premier breeder. All our Hamps were shown slick sheared. "Lucy" at left was first place yearling ewe and came home and has raised twins.

|
|
|
RJ Rishel 821 RR (Mike) is out of our Angel ewe and our Wade Ram "New Dimension". We really like his length, bone and correctness and plan to breed a few ewes to him this fall. His twin brother went to the Sollenbergers (see below).
